Missions to the Philippines
As some of you know, I was recently involved in the filming of a video showing the horrors of human trafficking. As a result, I learned about the brutality against women and children all over the world who are being exploited. My heart has been broken for these people ever since and I cannot sit idly by as these innocent people are abused every day. I cannot ignore the cry of my heart to represent Christ in His calling that is inherently my calling: “The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.”
God has opened the door for me to serve Him on the mission field through an organization called Adventures in Missions in the Philippines with a ministry called Wipe Every Tear. This trip will be for six months in which I will have the opportunity to minister to women who are trapped in prostitution on the streets of Manila. There, I will reach out to young women who want to escape and also help women who have already chosen to do so and are living in one of Wipe Every Tear’s safe houses. It is in these situations I will have the opportunity to share God’s love and restoration to the broken and destitute.
I am overwhelmed by this incredible opportunity God has given me and I am fully confident that He will provide for all my needs. Ultimately, my prayer is that He will do that through you. I am writing to you to ask if you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me in my ministry. I must raise $10,000 in order to go to the Philippines, which covers all of my expenses on the field. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donation, wherein you choose the amount and beginning and end date. If 16 people were to pledge $100 per month for six months, I would have one hundred percent of the funds needed for this trip. My prayer is to have this amount accounted for in either one-time or monthly gifts by the end of June.
